Read this reflection before proceeding .... The story of the apparitions
teaches us that some people, for various reasons, tell of extraordinary phenomena and messages which are then exposed over time. It is certainly not easy to tell the truth from the lie and the Church itself uses, for obvious reasons, to adopt strict criteria to arrive at a correct response. If a product comes from the time God will not let the fruit rot because it is a Lord, but if the fruit comes from the devil, the king of lies, sooner or later it will fall from the tree to which he was attacked. This list of Marian apparitions groups a number of cases still under consideration by the Holy See and therefore some of these in a more or less distant future, may (repeat may) be false appearances.
One who follows blind Marian apparitions, the apparitions unless accepted by the Holy See must understand that you do so at your own risk: the risk is che l'apparizione si possa poi rivelare falsa ed il pericolo, gravissimo per l'anima, è rappresentato dalla perdita della vera fede in Nostro Signore Gesù Cristo. Le apparizioni che, invece, hanno dato vita ad un Santuario, ad una Chiesa, ad una cappella... anche se non sono state esplicitamente accettate dalla Chiesa, hanno comunque l'accettazione implicita della stessa; quindi sono apparizioni sulla cui bontà non vi devono essere dubbi di nessun genere perché la Chiesa ne ha accettato il culto e la diffusione della devozione che ne scaturisce.
La Chiesa non ha sempre bisogno di convalidare un'apparizione, non è importante questo.... ma è importante che da quell'apparizione particolare siano poi fioriti dei frutti buoni. Sono questi frutti che vengono, in pratica, "convalidati" dalla Chiesa e resi "ufficiali".
Anche la presenza di sacerdoti e direttori spirituali presenti alle varie apparizioni oggi ancora in corso, non garantisce assolutamente la bontà dell'apparizione stessa. Anche i sacerdoti possono sbagliare, in buona fede, nell'interpretare i fenomeni mistici. Solo la Santa Sede è infallibile e quindi solo le apparizioni accettate da essa sono degne di essere prese in considerazione.
Lo studio sistematico di un'apparizione mariana per approvarne la veridicità, qualora la Santa Sede abbia constatato le bontà dei frutti da essa derivati, non potrà mai essere effettuata fin quando il fenomeno stesso non sia cessato. Questo atteggiamento della Holy See is dictated by legitimate caution that the Church must have to avoid any sort of appearance in court.
The only exception among the Marian apparitions today still in progress must be made to the apparitions of Medjugorje, because we are dealing with a phenomenon unique in the history of Christianity. A phenomenon so exceptional leave astonished by the amount of unimaginable spiritual conversion associated with it.
Even John Paul II, before leaving for heaven, this suggests that, if he was not the Pope, would surely go to Medjugorje.
I think this is a good warranty. The Decree of
________________________________________ Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith (AAS No. 58-18 of December 29, 1966) repealing the canons 1399 and 2318, was approved by Pope Paul VI October 14, 1966, was later released by order of His Holiness the same, so: is no longer forbidden to disclose without the written imprimatur on new appearances, revelations, visions, prophecies and miracles. Guided by the VII decrees and decrees of the Sacred Congregation of Rites, we declare that what is stated in this DVD should be given to other faith than that which deserves reliable human evidence, and that does not mean in any way, prevent the court the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
